Pathways to Innovation and Leadership

Patriot Pathways combines the rigor and objectives of our college-prep program with the initiative to equip students for a future career in a S.T.E.A.M. related field.

Students may select from one of the following Pathways:

  • Architecture
  • Engineering

Application Process

Important Dates:

  • April 12, 2021 – Course requests open on RenWeb to current FCS students
  • May 3, 2021 – The application must be submitted no later than May 3, 2021 by 11:59 PM.
  • June 1, 2021 – Decisions on program acceptance will be communicated by June 1, 2021.
  • Mid-July 2021 – Course schedule will be released to program participants.
  • August 2021 – Parent/Participant Informational Meeting (Date/Time/Location: TBA)

*New students applying to Florida Christian School after the May 3rd deadline will be considered for the Pathways Program based on availability and on a case-by-case basis.

All applications will be processed by the Patriot Pathways Committee and approved by High School Administration. Acceptance is based upon the availability of open seats in the grade level for which the student is applying. Once a decision has been made, applicants will be contacted via email.

Course Requirements

ARCHITECTURE

  • REQUIRED GPA: 3.5 Weighted
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • STEAM Fair Presenter
    • Attend program field trips, workshops, and information sessions
    • Membership in a STEAM related club or honors society (ex. Art Honors Society)
  • REQUIRED COURSES: (All grade levels are required to take 1 Bible Course per year)
  • Honors – Core Courses
