Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students enjoyed a cool, sunny day for their annual field day competition held Friday, Feb. 13th. Students dressed in their class colors and competed in both indoor and outdoor events. The P.E. coaches organized the events held in the gym and on the field, while high school students assisted in running the events.
Coach Beth King shared her thoughts, “After working with the students for a month in PE class, it’s exciting to see how everything comes together. My favorite part of the day is to see the comradery among the students and the team work involved in completing the events.”
Students earned points for their class, with the top-scoring class winning a trophy. Congratulations to the 8th Grade class, this year’s winner!
