Weekly Word from Dr. Andrews March 23

FCS Family,

As Mrs. Andrews and I have been sequestered in our home these past days, we have recognized, maybe more than ever, the importance of our own personal worship and prayer time. One of the tools we have found, and that we enjoy, is the worship music that can be accessed online, and one of the songs that has ministered to us during this time is the worship song “Waymaker.” The Bible has a lot to say about how God provides a way for us spiritually and in all the things that are brought into our lives.

WAYMAKER – Isaiah 43;15-16, “I am the Lord, your Holy One The Creator of Israel, your King, who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters.” II Corinthians 1: 3-4, says, “Praise be to God and the Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts using all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”God who performs miracles
PROMISE KEEPER – II Corinthians 1:20,”For no matter how many promises God has made, they are YES in Christ. And so through Him the”Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Several years ago there was song that was being sung in the Christian community about God, the Waymaker, written by Don Moen:

God will make a way where there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me. He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way. By a roadway in the wilderness, He’ll lead me And rivers in the desert will I see Heaven and Earth will fade but His word will still remain And He will do something new today Oh, God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way. By a roadway in the wilderness, He’ll lead me And rivers in the desert will I see Heaven and Earth will fade but His word will still remain And He will do something new todayOh, God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot seeHe will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way.

The links below will take you to two videos about our Waymaker. Mrs. Andrews and I will continue to pray for you and your family during these challenging days.
