Financial Aid

We appreciate your interest in applying for Financial Aid for the 2018 / 2019 school year.  We are blessed that once again a limited amount of Financial Aid is available to qualifying families. Financial Aid is need-based and is awarded based on the financial need of each family.

Financial Aid applications must be submitted annually, beginning January 1st through the deadline of May 1st.  Once Financial Aid is exhausted, awards will cease for the school year.

Florida Christian School (FCS) utilizes the online financial review service of Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). The level of a family’s financial need is determined by this third party verification system as part of the evaluation of the financial aid application.  Families seeking Financial Aid must file a timely online application with FAST – please click on button below:

As of May 1st, Financial Aid is closed. If you are interested in applying for Financial Aid for the 2018-2019 school year, please send an email to Esther Roque (estherr@floridachristian.org) with the following information:

  1. Name of Parent
  2. Name of Student
  3. Student’s Grade
  4. New or Current Parent
  5. Email and telephone number

Once we receive your information, you will be placed on a wait list and will be contacted if we re-open Financial Aid.

Interested families, prior to filing the Financial Aid application with FAST, must have already completed the admission and enrollment process for each student.  In order to be considered for Financial Aid, all of the following requirements must be met, as per school policy:

  1. No Balance Due to FCS:  2017 / 2018 Tuition Account is current (zero balance due).
  1. Completed Admission and Enrollment Process for 18/19: RenWeb Online Enrollment (OE) 2018 / 2019 application submitted, and all Admission and Enrollment Fees paid in full for each student.
  2. Completed Financial Aid Application at FAST: All 2017 required tax documents, and a signed Request for Transcript of Tax Return (Form 4506-T) submitted directly to FAST; together with the FAST online application.

Only complete applications (with requirements listed above) will be reviewed and considered for Financial Aid by FCS.  Your application may be selected for a personal interview with the Business Manager as part of our review process.

Awards are granted for one school-year, and will offset annual tuition only.  All Award recipients will be on the monthly Tuition Payment Plan (12 equal installments, June – May).  There are additional fees that will be due to FCS from Aid award recipients. Families will be responsible for Fixed Fees such as Family Improvement Fee, Elementary Book Fee, and MS/HS Class Fee (non-refundable), and when applicable, other fees such as: Contracted Student Support Services, After School Care, etc. Any applicable fees will also follow the monthly payment plan.

The Tuition Installment (1/10 of annual tuition) is due for each student on June 1st, or at the time of enrollment, whichever is later.  Enrollment is not complete until the non-refundable Tuition Installment is paid in full.
