Steps to Admission

Follow these steps for our FCS students (3K – 12th grade) taking classes on campus. For our online academy, click here.

Step 1 - Schedule a Campus Tour

Please fill out our inquiry form below and someone from our admissions team will contact you for a possible tour date and time.

Step 2 - Complete New Student Application

Fill out and submit the application fee of $200 (non-refundable) to begin the admissions process.

Minimum entrance requirements:

All students/applicants must meet the following entrance requirements before being considered for enrollment:

  • Entrance exam score must be at grade level or above grade level
  • No failing grades or classes are permitted.
  • Only complete applications will be reviewed (please review admissions checklist for all required admission steps and paperwork).
  • If you are interested in your child receiving academic assistance, each file is reviewed on a case-by-case basis using student’s most current psychoeducational evaluation (can’t be older than 36 months). Possible enrollment will be determined based on space availability in the needed program and Florida Christian School being able to provide the services needed for the student to excel in our school environment.

Step 3 - Submit all Necessary Paperwork

Please review our admissions checklist for all required admission steps and paperwork.

Access school reference form (1st – 12th), records release form (all grades), student questionnaire (6th – 12th), and teacher reference form(all grades).

Access preschool recommendation form (for incoming 3K, 4K, and 5K).

Step 4 - Complete Entrance Exam

Entrance exams are conducted for all incoming K5 – 12th grade students. Preschool observations are conducted for incoming 3K and 4K students.

These assessments are scheduled throughout our enrollment period. Please contact Yessenia Batista (incoming 3K through 5th grade) or contact Rosa Lobaina (incoming 6th – 12th grade) for available test dates.

Next Steps

Completed application enters the review process

Application and all documentation submitted will be evaluated by our admissions committee.

Initial decision letter will be received

An initial decision letter will be sent via email to all families that have completed the steps above.

Students who have been recommended for enrollment will proceed to the next phase of the admissions process:

Family Interview

A family interview will be conducted with an administrator.

Final Decision Letter

A final decision will be sent via email with instructions on how to complete enrollment.
