FEBRUARY 19, 2010

Middle School will be having an EXTREME FIELD DAY Our adventure will take place on Friday February 19, 2010 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The event will be held on the West Campus and the adjacent park.

Neil's Catering will be hosting a picnic style BBQ lunch for us where we will offer hot dogs or hamburgers, chips, a drink and a cookie.   The cost of the lunch will be $4.00, in which a quarter will be donated from every lunch purchased towards the Haiti project. If the payment is in the form of a check, please make the check payable to Florida Christian School.  The money for lunch needs to be in by February 12. We are also planning to have a bake sale on the day of this event.  We will have tables set up in the park during the lunch break and again in the courtyard outside of the gym after the event for the bake sale.  All monies raised in Field Day will be donated to our Middle School's Haiti Project.  Each grade level is responsible to bring the following to help for the bake sale.  Please bring items to your child's homeroom.  The brownies, cookies, cupcakes should be brought the day of the event in the morning.  The Gatorade and Aquafina Water can be brought in to the homerooms the morning of the event or prior to the event.

You are a big part of the success of this event; therefore if you are interested in volunteering your time from 8:00-3:00pm, on this day please speak with your child's homeroom teacher about how you can help.

Also while on this event, the students will be expected to follow not only Florida Christian code of conduct, but to obey and respect parents and staff. Appropriate action will be taken by faculty and staff if guidelines are not followed.  Students are to wear their class shirts, shorts or jeans and sneakers only, if not they are to come in their school uniforms.  Thank you for your continual support and please feel free to contact your homeroom teachers with any questions. This letter and information will be posted to Ed-line.
